Projects: A small sampling

ALREADY GHOSTS

Local Wolfeboro resident Stephen Phillips, a talented songwriter, discovered me through a Google search and reached out via my Contact Form. Stephen's no stranger to success, collaborating with semi-famous, top-tier musicians on his latest album, Leave Your Demons Behind. He needed a sleek, user-friendly website to showcase his new release and sell exclusive merchandise.

One unique hurdle? Stephen's animated logo—a 12-second .mp4 masterpiece featuring an explosive blast that reveals his metallic logo in flames. He wanted it front and center as the entry point. I transformed that vision into a seamless, clickable experience: crank up the volume, tap the logo, and watch it transition smoothly into the site. The result? A bold first impression that hooks visitors instantly. I crafted a merchandise page to launch his official CD and T-shirt sales—perfect for fans of his killer sound. As a fellow musician and songwriter, working on the ALREADY GHOSTS site was a blast, pun intended. Grateful to Stephen for trusting me with this project! Curious? Visit the site, explore the links, and hear the album for yourself—stellar songwriting and musicianship await. Here's hoping ALREADY GHOSTS hits the road soon!

Butternuts Good Dishes

Theresa Tocio tapped me to refresh Butternuts Good Dishes' website after taking over from Sally, one of my first local clients. I'd upgraded Sally's site years back, and now, as neighbors in Wolfeboro's tight-knit community, Theresa and I teamed up. She craved a modern, clean look to showcase her new product line. I delivered, boosting SEO with a sitemap, robots.txt, and Content Security Policy, plus a Facebook feed for daily specials. We broke the single-page layout into multiple pages for a breezy feel and added borders to gallery images—a fresh twist in a borderless world. Butternuts' to-go food is a hit (my wife's hooked!). Ready for a site that reflects your style and draws customers? Let's connect!

Dr. Richard Neal, DMD

Dr. Neal's office took a chance on me, and I delivered. As a dental patient turned resident web developer, I revamped his outdated site—swapping low-res images, pruning irrelevant content like old staff bios, fixing broken links (including a payment portal), and modernizing the landing page. Dr. Neal's a local legend in Wolfeboro, known for his philanthropy, veteran support, and passions for dogs and guitars (I have the same passions). His Halloween humor—think skeletons in dental chairs—inspired a playful Hero image idea, though we landed on his iconic Main Street lawn sign, a daily sight for thousands. I also seamlessly migrated his email to GoDaddy hosting with zero downtime, keeping his busy practice humming. SEO wasn't the goal here—demand's already sky-high, with appointments booked six months out. Need a site that works as hard as you do? Let's talk!

Ingram Engineering

Eric Ingram, my Georgia Tech housemate and bandmate in BOB, has always been a creative force. Together, we recorded albums and crafted songs, blending our talents. With his electrical engineering background, Eric naturally transitioned into designing top-notch sound equipment—a perfect fusion of tech and artistry.

For ingramengineering.net, the mission was clear: streamline dozens of sound files for easy access. We tapped Amazon S3 to store the extensive collection, tackling the time-intensive task of organizing them with smart naming. Beyond audio, the site packs in rich content—critical reviews, videos, and detailed product specs—making it a go-to resource for audio pros.

Rourke Fine Home Building, LLC

John discovered my web development services via Sally at Butternuts Good Dishes and approached me with a vision: a partially dynamic website for Rourke employees to effortlessly create, read, update, and delete projects. He also had big goals—top search engine rankings and targeted ad campaigns—and asked if I could connect him with a marketing expert. I recommended a trusted pro. While SEO was new territory for me, I dove in, equipping the site with Open Graph Metatags, Google and Facebook scripts, a sitemap, an in-site Blog, a Privacy Policy, and a Thank You page for Contact Form submissions. These upgrades turbocharged marketing efforts, tracking, and ads. The payoff? Rourke's website traffic has skyrocketed, driving more eyes to the business. John elected to add a full hero section video. While videos are known to impact site performance, the trade-off may be justified given the 80% increase in conversion rates according to marketing industry analysis. The impact to performance can be reduced by following Website Speedtest guidelines.

KellerCo Optik & Electronik, LLC

Dave Keller heard about me through word of mouth and brought KellerCo to my doorstep—a distributor of specialized consumables for lapping and polishing optics, infrared materials, lasers, and other exotic applications. The task? Transforming a mountain of handwritten, scientific content into a clear, web-ready format. I streamlined the complex terminology and polished the grammar, crafting a sharp, professional site that makes a lasting impression. Every word counts—and I always proofread my clients' content to ensure it shines.

DJ's Septic Pumping Services

DJ's threw me a curveball: graphic design. I'm usually deep in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, squashing bugs or shaping content to fit just right. But DJ's homepage demanded a standout visual. I zeroed in on their septic pump truck, gathering truck photos and wielding Photoshop and Illustrator to create a bold Hero image—the kind modern websites use to grab attention instantly. Paired with the perfect background hex color, #7b5901—a warm, earthy ochre mirroring their tank hauls—it's a striking first impression. You've got to check out Nathan's photo inside a client's septic tank! Building this site for Sarah and Nathan was a rewarding gig I'm thankful for.
